Can I text to another country?
Okay my boyfriend just left to Cuba to visit family yesterday from miami and we both have iMessage/iphones I have virgin mobile will they charge me for international texting? Help? He text/imessaged me today and i don't know if to reply cause I'm scared they might charge me.
You can iMessage him, that's free
Imessage is free even internationally, it can send over Wi-Fi to if you can't use towers there.
- When in a contract, can I get a different SIM while in another country? I'm going to china in 15 days and I want an IPhone so I can take pictures and have data while I'm there. I'm staying for an entire month. Getting this IPhone (with either sprint or T-mobile) with put me in a 2 year contract. Will I be able to use my phone while I'm there with the new SIM card I'm buying in China. I heard that my phone will be locked while I'm out of the country or something.
- If I text on Wi-Fi in another country is it free? I have an iphone, and I turned my roaming off, I'm from canada and In the USA, if I'm on Wi-Fi and I text with my iMessages is it free? As long as I'm on Wi-Fi?
- How to Know if an Iphone 4S or 4 Can Be Used In Another Country? My brother is in Spain and the iphones are very expensive there. I was wondering if I could buy one for him here off ebay or a site like that and give it to him for christmas. How would I know if it is usable in another country?
- Does switching stores on iTunes (from country to country) affect the apps? So I downloaded a lot of apps on my iPhone when I was in the US Currently, I'm in Canada and it won't let me switch stores back until my apple music subscription is over. My question is, when I do change back, will I have to redownload all the apps? Also when I want to update the apps would I have to switch back to the US Store?
