Can I track someone who has my debit card even though it is a cancelled card?
So I believe someone may have stolen my purse I has my wallet with my birth certificate, social security car, my license a cancelled bank of America card with no money and my iphone. Yes I have already tried to track my phone with icloud and it is saying its offline (my phone is dead) so tracking it is useless, I would like to know maybe the person was trying to use my card would there be a way to track it?
Who keeps their birth certificate and social security card with them?
I agree with Z… Who keeps that with them? That is inviting anyone and everyone to steal your identity. Hope you contacted the police immediately. And you might want to start monitoring your credit reports for identity theft.
You should immediately replace your birth certificate (order a certified copy), and replace your SS card (you'd probably need that for work), your (drivers) license immediately or you can't drive. And I guess you'd have to wait will your phone goes online to find it, if you would find it at all (it may be in some garbage can). If you cancelled your debit (checking) card already then there's no use to track it because you already got a new number. The bank will deal with them if they try to use the old one so is not your worry anymore. Now if it's a giftcard then it's gone for good and you lost your money from it. You should not have "cancelled" your BofA card, you should have merely transferred your credit to another card but cancelled the old number only.
So to answer your question… Don't bother trying to track it, you don't need to, that part has been solved already.
There's no need to contact the police since you already contacted BofA. And you don't need to monitor your credit reports at this time. If all you had was one credit card then there's no need to do this and pay for this service at this time. If you had a LOT of cards then I'd say sure, but just one, no.

I have an iphone 4S and it reads Att sim card no problem, i had the phone factory unlocked and it even said Congratulations your iPhone is unlocked after i restored it in iTunes, but all it says is no service i tried two different T-Mobile sim cards. - Why can I still send texts to other iPhones even though my iPhone has NO sim card? My iPhone stopped recieving calls properly so I've had to put my sim card into a different phone. Why when my mate text me from his iPhone did I receive it still on my iPhone and not the phone with the sim card in. And I was able to text him back from the iPhone but when he called me the little Nokia that I'm using rang… I'll be honest, I really don't understand how iOs stuff works…
- Why can I not use any sim card in my iPhone even though it is unlocked? I got an iPhone from a friend who says that the phone is unlocked, but every sim card I try in it seems not to work, it keeps on coming up with the same message that "There's no SIM card installed in the iPhone you are attempting to activate. Please disconnect and insert a SIM card in the iPhone." when have clearly put one in. What can I do?
- When traveling, can I buy a SIM card to my iphone even though I'm still on a contract? I'm traveling soon. I have verizon and their roaming service is very expensive. I was wondering if once I get to my destination country, can I buy a SIM card so that I can be able to obtain phone service while on my trip? If not, My iphone is still under contract, if I get my phone unlocked, then buy a SIM card, would that also be a problem?
