Can I transfer bookmarks from my laptop to my iphone?
I have an hp laptop and an iphone 3gs if that helps.
Just copy the URL link. Paste it in an email and then send it to yourself. Then just visit the links and bookmark them on your phone. Quick and simple
There's three answers to this question -
If you're using Chrome on your laptop and have it synced with Google's cloud, then download Chrome on your iPhone. That will automatically take care of bookmarks, history, tabs, and most everything else.
If you're using Firefox on your laptop, Mozilla has an app for iPhone that allows you to transfer bookmarks back and forth between the iPhone and your computer with a Mozilla account. The app you'd be looking for is Firefox Home.
Finally, if you're using Safari or Internet Explorer on your laptop and you have Windows Vista, 7, or 8 installed, and you have iOS 5 on your iPhone. You can install the iCloud sync tool from Apple's website which will sync bookmarks from Safari or Internet Explorer to your iPhone. It'll also sync contact information, notes, and email if you have Microsoft Outlook 2007 or later on your computer. Download it from http://support.apple.com/.../kb/DL1455
- What does it mean when your iPhone syncs your bookmarks? I have an iPhone 5c and I tried adding a bookmark to my list on safari and a message popped up saying "bookmarks are syncing at the moment try again after synching is finished" what does that mean? Synching to what I'm not connected to a computer.
- Really old bookmarks somehow on my iPhone 4? Alright so the other night I found on my iPhone safari a whole bunch of these bookmarked sites that were all from my girlfriends old laptop, but she got rid of her laptop like over two years ago and I got my phone a year ago. She's promised none of the sites there she looked up or bookmarked, so does anyone know how they possibly could be on my phone! Some sort of auto sync some how? I have absolutely no clue how they got there, answers please?
- My iPhone won't let me take the bookmarks from my laptop off my phone? I was trying to clear up some space on my iPhone and I went on safari and noticed that the same bookmarks from my laptop were on my phone and now I don't know how to get them off.
- Is the iPhone reading lists any different from the favorites and bookmarks in safari? I've been using it for quite some time and I don't know whether I'm reading offline or using the internet to read these articles
