Can I upgrade my cell before my 2year contract is up?
I'm thinking about switching to Verizon & getting a 2 year contract with an iphone. Do I have to keep that phone for 2 years or can I upgrade earlier if I pay for the phone?
Upgrade through them? No. Buy another phone on your own and then put it on that line? Yes. You can use a tin can and string. They don't care. If you bought the phone straight out, why would you do a contract? Just go month-to-month. But you can only get a phone through Big Red every 2 years per the contract. Any swaps will have to be made by you outside of that. Best luck.

My iphone 4s was stolen while it died, so it isn't on and I didn't have the find my iphone app or have any type of insurance on it since I just barely got it and didn't have the means to get it yet.
