Can I use my iPhone on an airplane?
I wouldn't be texting/calling or using the Internet. I would just be playing games and have it on "airplane mode". I'm flying from fairbanks to miami (with a stop in Seattle) if that makes a difference.
Usually it's not a problem. I don't think the rules have changed.
They will let you know. You usually turn them off before takeoff. Then they will inform when it is okay to turn them back on.
You have to turn off all electronics while taking off and landing. The pilot will let you know when you can turn it back on. As long as you keep it on airplane mode, you can use your apps
