What apps can you use on Airplane mode with an iPhone?
I'm flying out and I'm mostly wondering if you can read books and the iTunes U if the programs are already downloaded. I don't want to Kill my battery either.
Anything that doesn't involve cellular, Wi-Fi, data or Bluetooth.
For the security and safety you should choose the flight mode, but you may play game, read, write, etc! Good trip!
- What does it mean when you put your iPhone on Airplane Mode? If i go into a different country would it go on roaming? Or does it turn off everything like my text and calls?
- Wat can one use when using airplane mode? I have an ipad2, iphone 3GS, ipod touch ( 4th gen i think no facetime or camera ) am i able to use apps like facebook, games i have downloaded etc? i'm just curious as to wat i can use while i'm in airplane mode, as it's a little too confusing for me. with wat other people have said.

- Is it ok to use Wi-Fi in a plane with Airplane Mode? I have a question i'm going on a plane soon and i have a iPhone and i wanna use Wi-Fi on the plane the aircraft model is a Boeing 747 and i have heard bad stories that mobile phones can interfere with the planes system and cause it to crash!
