Can I use my Verizon iphone 5c with straight talk?
I want to switch to straight talk because for unlimited talk/text and 4G of data my bill is $150/month, and Straight talk would be $45/month for unlimited everything. I wanted to know if I'd need to sell my iphone and buy one of there's though. I just got this iphone a month ago. I'd have to get out of my plan with verizon early which would have a fee but I'm wondering if doing that and buying a new iphone would be worth it in the end with the bill being much lower?
I've been told I can't do this, but my friend used her old iphone with straight talk she said she just bought a SIM card.
You might be able to do it. The phone may need to be unlocked. Some Verizon phones are not SIM locked. However, you would not get 4G data and likely neither 3G and no MMS.
Nope. You would have to buy a straight talk phone. You can't use a Verizon cell phone onto another carrier. Verizon cell phones are locked only to be used with Verizon network.
The iPhone 5,5c and 5s all come factory unlocked right out of the box. No matter if it verison or AT&T or what ever it is.

- What SIM card should I use to put my unlocked Verizon Iphone 5c on straight talk? I just purchased a GSM unlocked Verizon Iphone 5c and am currently trying to put it on straight talk. I've purchased the BYOP kit from walmart and I know I need to use the nano sim but IIm not sure if I should use the at&t compatible SIM card or the T mobile? Or does it not matter? Any feedback would be really appreciated.
