Can the Nike + app track my route without cellular?
If I disable my data, 3G and cellular will the Nike + app track my route since the iPhone has GPS?
As far as I can tell you are confused - but that is also my opinion of people who call computer programmes for their phones apps (It is a phone, talk on it, speak to people!)
Nike+ technology is a sensor that fits into your shoe, as you run it sends a signal to a receiver (Phone, watch, over priced MP3 player) and that does some sums to work out your speed and distance run etc. This system does not need the receiver to be connected to anything such as a phone signal
Your phones programme is likely however to be just a GPS analysis software that will do the same - no sensor in the shoe and again should not need the phone signals itself, however it might use them to make the results more accurate (If the programme was made by NIKE then it needs all the help it can get in my opinion)
Third thing, why would you want to disable all the functions that make a phone usable to talk to people? And second thing, why would you take a gadget costing a few hundred ££ out for a run in possible rain when they are not built to get wet?
