Can you still buy the iPhone 5?

I read something that said you can't but then I was wondering why

Yes you can why wouldn't you be able to? They are coming out with the Iphone 5s soon and people will most likely want to switch to that.

Why would you when its the same cost as 5S and 5S is far better? 5C is basically the 5 and costs less.

For now you can.apple changed how they do their iPhone lineup and has discontinued the original iPhone 5. However companies will still have large stocks of them that they will either need to sell or have to return to apple for a loss.
