Can you still use an iPhone 5 without a sim card?

I know you won't be able to text and make calls and stuff but will everything else still work? Things like the internet and apps, etc?

You will only be able to use the internet without a sim card if you have access to a Wi-Fi network.

I don't see why not.

  • Will cutting my sim card work to use as a micro sim card? I just ordered an iPhone 4 and I need to cut the sim card to make it a Micro sim. Will it affect it. I have seen a bunch of video and already have the template it for it. I'm using simple mobile. Do you know if anything wrong happen to it?

I've been wanting an iPhone in my whole life, so i got an Alcatel One touch fierce, tmobile contract, uder my father's credit, so i have given a thought of buying an iPhone 5s in full price and ill be purchasing it on apple store. Is it possible if i use the sim card from tmobile and use the iphone as my phone? Is that possible?
  • Can you use an old sim card in a new iPhone after transferring the info to a new sim card? I'm borrowing an iPhone from a friend, but it requires a sim card. He transferred all his information to a new sim card in a different phone. Can I use the old sim card on a different iPhone?
