Can you text for free internationally with iMessage?
My boyfriend is deployed in Japan, and we both have iPhones. Can we use iMessage and not have to pay extra charges for international fees?
Should be free, i message is an internal program not really text messaging its more like a messaging app. If you have problems with it tell him to get text plus and make a us account it will work that way
Kakao Talk is a better messaging app, all smart phones could has that apps so you could also talk to your friends who use androids or blackberry.
True that iMessage is an internal application, but it ll consume your internet data for messaging. Its like watsapp, which is an application and gives free messaging but uses internet data at the same point of time. But the usage of internet data is very minimal. So you can use it without any hassle.
