Could a dog live in a warehouse if he has plenty of food and water?

I have a vintage car garage that I'm at 4 days a week. I have an alarm system as well as cameras that I can monitor from my iphone. However, I would still like to have a living threat there as well. The dog will have plenty of water and space to run around. I would feed him daily and use an automatic feeder when I'm not there. I'm considering a Rottweiler to provide the visual deterrent that I'm looking for. I have never owned a dog, and I would interact with him/her often.

the dog will either become aggressive or will be poisoned or even shot by someone breaking in since a dog never stop an intruder. They just kill it. If the dog bites someone then the dog will be destroyed and you sued

Just don't, should the dog injure anyone you can still be sued, dogs are also easily disposed of if someone is determined to enter, they're not a deterrent to anyone, and since you don't have a clue about basic dog care, it would Not be fair for the dog to suffer due to your neglect.

Well I wouldn't - because I'd not put any dog in a situation where it could be badly injured, poisoned, or otherwise killed. If you have a good security system in place, that should be more than enough without having a dog in there. If anybody is intent in getting onto your property, for theft, they'd dispose of the dog. And indeed, as said, if the dog attacks and badly injures an intruder, you 'd have the dog seized and you'd be fined.
