Crazy ghost voices on phone recorder?

I was in bed when I heard a voice. I got goosebumps which can only mean one thing something otherworldly is around. So I took out my phone recorder on my IPhone for fun to see if I could record anything… And I did! The EVPs are continuous and non stop. In one recording there's snoring! Continuos snoring and sounds like a monster. Little kid voices, footsteps, tapping, male voices, female voices, meowing cats, even melodies. It's continuous EVPs! Ghost hunters would be freaking out. What should I do in your opinion?

<I got goosebumps which can only mean one thing something otherworldly is around> Oh, please. If you're going to say silly things like that it's not even worth reading the rest of the question. You're just freaking yourself out.

Goosebumps appear when you are cold as well as frightened. Many years ago when your ancestors were hairy and looked like apes, if they felt cold they also got goosebumps but each goosebump contained a hair. This made all its hair stand and helped warm air to stay near the body thus retaining heat. It still works even now as your hairs stand up but are no longer effective now. When frightened, just like a cat trying to look bigger the hairs stood and made the person look bigger to an enemy. You must have been cold because you thought of fun. I wish you had let us hear this EVP as it could have been interesting. Any of these so called sceptics could try this themselves and get results but that would mean that they would kill their argument and wouldn't be able to pick on people like you anymore. EDIT I doubt YOU not reading the question is going to upset this person Photon. He/she most probably hopes you stay away from all of her posts.

The thing you have to understand. Is how the gain control works on microphones and recording equipment. When there's quiet this can automatically go way up, and therefore record sounds in the next building or outside that you can't hear. This noise contamination is why most investigations are done at night when most people are naturally asleep.

Well, there's no reason to think that anything you record is a so-called EVP or something "paranormal". If you understood the physics of sound and how recording devices work, you wouldn't bother invoking non-material entities or other superstitious explanations. You need to try to think rationally and remember you are living in the real world. Not a fictional cartoon or horror movie world. What does a "monster" sound like exactly? The only reference you have is fiction, correct?

Assuming you are not trolling… Your house is haunted by dark matter spirit beings. But don't be fooled. They are not as they seem.

My first thought was perhaps you were in an apartment building and your microphone was near a heat or AC duct. But this could happen in a private house with people and animals in other rooms---or a neighborhood with people outside---particularly if your microphone is sensitive.

There are a LOT of factors you will have to eliminate. "Otherworldly" is a consideration only of very last resort after every other possibility has been accounted for-----including those you haven't thought of.

  • Would it be crazy to go back to a basic phone? I feel like smartphones have ruined us. I've disconnected from social media and can no longer access my accounts, however I feel like it still isn't enough. I'm still addicted to my iPhone. Would it be nuts for somebody in their early 20's to ditch smartphones and go back to a basic one with standard features like text and call?
  • What is the device that the Ghost Adventures crew use to tell what the ghost is saying? What is the device that the Ghost Adventures people use if they want to see what the ghost is saying? I know it is a little black device, and it has a built-in dictionary. When the ghosts speak, the voice of the machine sounds like a robot. What is this device called, and is there an iPhone app similar to that device?
  • What is the best way to record spirits voices? I was doing it a few days ago on my iPhone and it came out really good. I heard voices and everything but there was static in the background and it was destracting. Also what is the best way to make it talk? To move light objects?
