Did I break my nose? Clicking sound when I move it?
A child accidentally hit me with the side of the iPhone on my nose. It was kinda painful but for only a few seconds. No bruise, no blood, no crookedness. However I do hear a clicking sound when I press my nose bridge upward, and the sound only comes from the side where I was hit. Also that same side feels softer and more tender than the other…
With my insurance I pay $100 just to be seen at the emergency room. I'm really short on cash right now. I want to know if this sounds serious or I'm just being paranoid. Could I have possibly had my nose broken?
Added (1). @ Dr David-
1) clicking sound started immediately after injury
2) there was no bleeding or bruising at all
3) This happened I want to say 12 hours ago or less
It's quite possible. The nasal bones are very susceptible to fracture. You didn't put down how long it's been since the injury, whether there was regional bruising, bleeding, and so on. Details do help. That said, most minor fractures to the nose are just left to their own devices. They're not fatal, and usually only result in minor occasional discomfort, from what I've seen.

- Why there's a clicking sound on my iphone 6 home button? After the front screen protector was installed to my iphone 6 i hear a clicking sound when i half press the home button, i don't press it all the way down, just half press, i can hear a clicking sound. Why is that? Anyone please explain why.
- Why does the iPhone camera make my nose look fat? I think I'm pretty good looking. My nose is pointy and thin for the most part, I've never been told I have a fat nose. I have a thin face. But for some reason the iPhone camera makes my nose look huge and my face look fat! I started crying when I saw the picture. I've taken pictures in the past on a regular film camera and my nose looks completely different. Does anyone else have this problem?
- Why does my car stereo make a clicking sound when I charge my iPhone? I just bought a certified preowned 2009 Mazda Mazda3 hatchback. Whenever I plug my charger into my iPhone while it's connected to the aux input I hear a repeating clicking sound through my speakers. The clicking gets faster and slightly higher in pitch as I push the accelerator. What's going on?
- What's that phone app that puts a dog snout over your nose in pictures? Is it for Android or iPhone or both? Is it an app you download or is it just a part of the default camera app on certain phones? Why do teenage girls use it when it looks so tacky?
