Disconnect iphone 4 while DOWNLOADING ios 6.1.3 update?

Hi can I disconnect my iphone 4 while downloading ONLY the ios 6.1.3 update? If i disconnect it, and when I connect it again, will it resume the download or go back to start?

The download is not dependent on the phone being connected so removing the phone will do you no harm the download will resume without the phone, next to you plug in the phone and select update it will begin the update from the already downloaded update.

  • Would downloading and streaming while Wi-Fi is on still take up cellular data? I turned cellular data off on my iPhone and turned on Wi-Fi. I'm allowed 7GB of data each month and the cell carrier told me not to make and big downloads or stream videos or it will slow my internet down. If I do these things while Wi-Fi is on, would I still be using up the 7GB? Or can I download and stream freely like I did with my iPod?
