Do I have to give in my old iPhone to Apple?
My iPhone recently suffered water damage, Apple has offered to replace it for £119, but what I'm wondering is if I have to give in the old iPhone, or whether I can keep it.
Much appreciated.
You can probably keep it.
When you say replace, replace means you swap it, but don't ask them, try to keep it.
Keep it no need to replace it

- Why does my Apple TV have my old photos? When I open my Apple TV and leave it on the homescreen for a while, it starts to show old photos that I took a long time ago. But they are deleted off my iPhone. But i don't know why it's showing those photos.
- When you give APPLE a defective IPHON do they give you a reconditioned one back? My IPHONE had a defect, still under warranty, so I took it to an Apple MAC store and after a few days they gave it back, supposedly repaired. Now the replaced IPHONE has a problem, different than the previous problem I'm now having a problem with the taking a photo. Do they just replace your phone with a reconditioned one they say no but?
- My 16 year old son won't give us his iPhone password, what can we do about it? I want to know what he texts to his friends, sort of spy on his thoughts kind of thing. The thing is he bought the phone with money from his job and he pays the bill, it's prepaid. He refuses to hand over his phone or the password. He says if we try to take it away he will defend his property using force. What can I do? I really need to know what's in that phone!
- Is a 6 year old old enough to have her own phone? I have a bunch of old iPhones (6,7,8) saved up and I'm thinking of putting her into the family plan. What do you think of a 6 year old having a smartphone?
