Do I lose things on my iPhone X (on the beta program for iOS) when upgrading to iPhone 11 Pro?

I'm upgrading to the iPhone 11 tomorrow. I have the iPhone X right now, and it is on the iOS 13 beta. Obviously, when I get the new one tomorrow, it won't be on the beta. Will I lose apps and photos I've accrued on my phone since joining the beta program several months ago?

You'll be fine. Back up the contents of your current phone before you switch, and then you can restore your backup to the new phone and pick up where you left off.

"How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch"

After you've made the switch, you should release the activation lock and wipe its memory for the next owner:

"What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch"

  • Thoughts on iPhone 11/11 Pro/Pro Max? I think it's amazing (especially after having an iPhone 8 previously) the best thing about it is the battery life.
