Do iphones have internet access everywhere?
On my ipod touch I can't get internet access but everyone else on their iphones can
Cell phone service providers often allow users something known as 3G. Some companies even have 4G.
Either way, a phone with 3G service can be online anywhere as long as it gets a signal.

iPods only have wireless. They are not cell phones so they do not use the cellular internet connection.
Haha well the iPod Touch is a Wi-Fi only device while the iPhone is connected to a cellular network. The iPhone can only get internet access where there's cellular data OR Wi-Fi signals. An iPod touch can only get internet access via Wi-Fi.
Ipod touch is Wi-Fi only, iphone is Wi-Fi and cell towers.
IPhones have internet everywhere they can receive a cellular data signal. Carriers have improved their networks so well that the biggest ones have nation-wide coverage.

That's because an iPhone is an iPhone, and an iPod is an iPod. It's really that simple. IPhones have cellular data radio technology, while iPods don't.
On the other hand, iPhone owners pay extra to get that internet service.
- With 4g do you get Internet everywhere? I'm on my dads iPhone and it says 4g in the top left hand corner. We're driving from las Vegas to California and I want to be able to go on Internet the whole ride there, can I? Oh ok, I don't know much about this whole iPhone and other cell phone stuff, well I still have service.
- IPhone 5 is sold out everywhere? Omg, I finally saved up the money for an iPhone but they are sold out EVERYWHERE. Do you think they might have it in less populated areas or in the morning? Cuz I srsly don't want to wait 3 weeks for the phone to arrive
- My Iphone is not letting me access the internet or internet based apps? I have an Iphone 5. Never had any issues but now it won't connect to the internet or any apps. It does the same thing it does when I have no service (just has that little circle symbol that means it's trying to get through). Orginally, I thought it must be a universal problem but everyone else has service and they are in the same location as me. Also I always use my phone here with no problems. I have tried turning it off and on again but nothing.
