Do people who love to take photos choose iPhone?

I see many "phone photography" instagrammers use iPhone. Do most of the people who take photos prefer iPhone than any other android phones because the camera is better and there are editing apps and accessories out there?
Some of my friends said that iPhone takes pictures better than Android. I love photography and am going to buy a new phone. I'm considering iPhone 5S, do you think it will be suitable?

People who want to snap at parties and other stuff do but there's no real photography there.
Those who care about real photography, making photos instead of snaps, will buy dslr cameras at all levels.

In that particular market niche, yes they do choose iphone. The top Android phones are on a par with it but without the Apple cachet. Nokia has something much better in the pipeline.
However if you put a good P&S like a canon S110 in your pocket it will blow away those little phones in terms of quality. A SLR will really show them up, but of course lacks the convenience factor.

People who love to take photos will use any camera they can get their hands on. Choice of tool depends on their arsenal and how well they understand the basic principles of photography. The more knowledgeable they are, the wider choices of cameras they have, the lesser their penchant for using a phone.

If you are buying a cell phone for its camera capabilities, you owe it to yourself to look into the Nokia 1020.

Generally, if still image capture is important, then getting a phone with a convenience feature is not exactly "love of photography"… Most folks who "love photography" will use a device primarily designed to capture images…

I chose the t3i. I rarely use my cell phone for photos, people who use cell phones will have a rude awakening when they print their pictures.sure it's easy and convenient to email or text pics from your phone, but really once those pics have to be printed, they are very noisy with poor quality.

  • Why does some of the photos that I take with my iPhone 6 so much bigger than the other photos? I didn't change any of the settings in my phone as I have been taking one photo after the other. I don't think it is a burst shot either because I do not hold the capture button for long. So I'm expecting all photos to be relatively the same. Some photos even reached 200MB! I'm puzzled atm…
  • Why do young people love iPhones so much? I'm 22 years old (so I'm young myself) and I honestly don't see the fascination with them. Nowadays, you get really good androids that are just as good and cheaper too. I have a Windows 8 phone and I love it. I'm not bashing iPhone users. I only want to know why a lot of young people (especially girls) favour them over other just as good smartphones. Is it really true that a lot of people have more money than sense?
  • Why do some people love to hate on Apple products? Especially guys. I know lots of guys who say Apple is overpriced and not that good. I have a macbook that is almost 4 years old and still works like it's brand new. Before I had to buy new laptops every 2 years because they became slow and these laptops cost the same as my mac. Also, I have the iPad and the Galaxy tablet and the iPad is way better. I'm even switching back to the iphone because the galaxy 4 is annoying.
  • Why do so many people love the iPhone 5s? Sure, it's i good phone. It has a new home botton. It has stuff that other iphones don't have. But do you really need all that. I hear some people saying that they are looking for a cheap phone and they get the 5s. The 5c is way cheaper. I think it's a good phone but I don't need all that. So I got a 5c. But why do so many people like it?
