Do use an iphone, ipad or tablet when you travel?
Why? Please explain.
If you don't have one, which one would you use and why?
I have an iPod Touch and a Galaxy S3 but I don't have an iPhone, iPad or any tablet. I mainly use it for entertainment, connection to Wi-Fi, browsing the web and listening to music. I basically use them to beat boredom, especially while I'm in long travel trips.
- When I unlock my iphone can I use a prepaid SIM card when I travel? I live in Germany and a friend sold me her iphone 3gs when her contract was up. She said the phone would be unlocked after a certain date but it hasn't yet. If i do this myself will I be able to use any SIM card? I have 1and1 for phone service and when I travel to the states I get a prepaid SIM from tmobile. Will these work on the iphone too?
- What use is an ipad or ipad mini to someone with an iphone and macbook? I'm thinking of getting an ipad mini or ipad 2 for someone who already has an iphone 5 and macbook pro. I don't know how useful it will be since they are not likely to use it outside of their home and i'll be getting the non 3g version so it won't be much use when they take it out anyway.
- What sim to use in USA and what travel money card to take? Anyone know: 1. A cheap mobile sun card that would fit in iPhone 4 that an Aussie could use in the states for a few weeks? 2. Best/ cheapest money/ travellers card to take?
- What happens to the IPhone when you travel? So I was planning on going to Mexico and IIm from the USA and I was wondering can the iPhone still work normal like if I was still in the USA? Or is there a process to be followed?
