Do you listen to a CD directly or rip the CDs to your PC and listen to it there?

Before I would listen to CDs with a CD Player. Then when I got a computer in 1996, I would occasionally listen to CDs with a very simplistic CD player program. Then when I got Windows XP, I ripped my CDs with Windows Media Player. Then a few years later I got iTunes and ripped my music there, along with purchasing music on iTunes. When I got an iPhone, I dumped my music collection there and that is how I listen to my music today. I still get CDs and rip them, sync them to my phone, and then listen to them. I also tried music streaming services like Google Play All access but I went past my mobile data cap. Meanwhile my older brother still listens to the CDs. I know vinyl is now back in but I don't have a record player although I do have a few vinyl records.

I listen to CDs directly. I also listen to Sirius radio quite a lot, and I have music on my computer that I bought from either Amazon or iTunes.

Old Cds are great for ripping to mp3

I make all my CD's into MP3's, along with other MP3's that I acquire from other sources. Then I make an MP3 CD-ROM to play in my car. My car radio (2008 Impala) plays CD's in MP3 format, so I can get up to 10-12 hours on a single disc.

Rip directly to the computer and never use them again, to be honest lol. Sometimes in the car maybe. I just like collecting them, and I do listen to them, just on my computer or ipod. I do the same with cassettes.
