Do you use read receipts on your iPhone?

Just curious. I don't but I've been considering it. I think it would be nice so I don't always have to reply to some texts to let them know I got it, but I also don't really want people knowing when I read their messages. So any reason that you do or don't?

I have it turned off, I think most that do that are b/f and g/f etc.

I like my read receipts option the same way i like my lights when i got to bed: off.

  • What would you do if you were watching your favorite show, and your 20 year old kid turned off the TV so that you couldn't watch it? I pay all the bills at the house. I normally watch AHS once a week with my kid. This week, she told me to go watch it in my own room. I told her my TV wasn't working and we would just have to watch it in her room. She turned off the TV so that I couldn't watch it. Then, she pompously pulled out her iPhone and proceeded to watch it on her iPhone. What would you do if this happened to you?
  • Iphone app that lets you see when someone read your txt you sent them? I know there's a feature on the iphone that you can turn off/on that shows someone that you read their text they sent you.Obviously everyone has caught on to this feature and turned it off so its rare your able to see if the person read the text you sent them… I'm curious is there an app i can download that will show me if the person i sent a text msg to has read/opened it, not just delievered… There has to be, there's an app for everything else… Thank you
  • Iphone 4 Read Receipts accuracy? Okay so I have an iPhone 4 with IMessage and I have read Receipts turned on. But I'd like to know how accurate read receipts are. What does it go based off of? How does it know you really read it? I do it a lot with my boyfriend and there are times hell say "you read that like 20 mins ago" even if I just picked up my phone and saw. How accurate is it?
