Does apple have a warranty for stolen iphones?
I was at my friends house last night & she had a small party. My iphone 4 was plugged into an ihome playing music and i left the room for about an hour and a half but when i came back, most of the people there were gone along with my phone. I've tried calling it, texting it, and using the Find my iPhone thing, but whoever stole it turned it off (there's no way its out of battery, last time i saw it, it was on 100%) so basically my questions are, is there a way you can turn on an iphone without physically being near the phone? Is there another way to track it? And if nothing else works, does apple's warranty cover stolen iphones?
Warranties only cover manufacturers defects, stolen equipment is covered by insurance.

- Will apple still cover me with their 1 year apple warranty? My uncle gave me his iPhone 4S as a gift, it has warranty until November 2013 and for some reason the phone turns off by itself about every 3 hours! The phone does not have any water damage as the water indicators are white, will apple still cover me on fixing it or giving me another one since I'm not the original owner but the phone is still under their warranty!
- When does an iPhones warranty start? I'm looking to buy a BRAND NEW - IN BOX and SEALED iPhone off eBay, the seller has 950+ 100% positive feedback so I do trust them. However, when would the 1 year manufactor / standard warranty start? Would this be when the phone is registered by me, or when the seller first received it? Also, if there was a problem with the phone in the future, would I need a receipt as proof of purchase or would Apple look to see when I registered it? Any help would be great, thanks.
- If I have a warranty with apple do I still have to pay to get my iPhone fixed? I just found out I still have a one year warranty on my phone and I recently cracked it. So if I take it to my local apple store do I still have to pay to get it fixed with the warranty? Forgot to add. How much will I have to pay if I have the warranty that came with the phone?
- If i do not have insurance on my verizon iPhone 5s but warranty with apple will verizon replace it? I do not have insurance with Verizon; however, I have warranty with apple until next year. Apple will replace my phone but will Verizon replace my iPhone since i have warranty with apple? (i bought it from Verizon) I'm just wondering because it is easier for me to go to Verizon rather than Apple.
