Does apple take you're money out once you put in your credit card details?
Just upgraded to an iPhone 5 and I'm still trying to set up my apple id thing and I can't download any apps if I don't enter my credit card details. And I'm not sure whether too, I know apple is safe, but do they start taking my credit card money out like for internet, Wi-Fi or top ups. Because I don't want them too? So could someone explain?
Apple will only use the card information when you want to purchase things like apps from the App Store, music from the iTunes Store, and anything else that Apple owns. Apple obviously doesn't own your internet connection or your Wi-Fi.
Those are the only instances that Apple will use your card.
No, they don't take any money out. Thats for if you buy apps or music or ibooks or rent movies, etc., and is to verify your account. If you don't buy anything then nothing is ever charged.
