Does AT&T void your iPhone warranty if you jailbreak your iPhone?

The new Evasi0n jailbreak is out now. And all I remember is that I bought my iPhone 4S in March 2012 and I just wanted to know if AT&T will void my warranty if I jailbreak ios 6?

The answer is yes and no if you take it into them jailbroken to service it or if you are foolish enough to brag about it. However you can unjailbreak your phone even easier then you can jailbreak it and noone would have any idea so the awnser is two fold.

Jailbreaking your iPhone is completely legal. Unlocking is not. If you need to use your warranty for something, upgrade the firmware or restore your iPhone to reverse the jailbreak.

If you restore you will get your warranty back

  • Will scratches and minor dents void my iPhone 4's warranty? Yesterday I called apple because my lock screen button had been pushed in, I was told that as long as it hadn't been dropped, which it hadn't, that it should be replaced at the spot but I'd have to bring it into an apple store. Now what's worrying me is that there's a few scratches around my lock button because I used to like wearing long acrylic nails and using them to take debris out of in between the button. Will this void my warranty in any way?
