Does connecting an iphone to home Wi-Fi cost money?
I've had my phone for a while and its started not working very well and my dad just surprised me with the iphone 4 today. But he says that I can't go on the internet aka i can't get any apps because it will cost extra. BUT i think that if i connect to my home Wi-Fi, it will not charge anything. Will it still cost money to go on existing Wi-Fi? Or is it just if you try to use the internet without an existing connection?
Using your home's Wi-Fi will cost you nothing on the phone plan. Just be sure to go into it's settings and turn off cellular data in the settings area so you never make a mistake. I'm guessing your plan is only voice and text cause with this arrangement there's no need to pay for any data plan.
The apps will be available when you are on Wi-Fi and will only cost if you buy some that are not free.

- My iPhone 4S has stop connecting to Internet outside my home? When my phone is out of my home wi-fi range it doesn't connect to any form of wireless. No 3G, no edge, no nothing. I've tried restarting it and I'm not that great with technology talk so if you have any suggestions I'd appreciate it if you kept the advice quite easy to understand.
- IPhone 5s not connecting to home Wi-Fi but connects to other Wi-Fi? I enter my password correctly and it loads for a few seconds until it says it can't connect to the network but when I'm at school or at a friends house I can connect to their Wi-Fi just fine. I have tried to set it to static and reset the network settings but none of those have worked.

I had called AT&T, Frontier, & Apple All had told me today that the sercurity settings on my Wi-Fi are blocking the connection to my iPhone 5S Is that possible? Because I had called AT&T today & someone else said that's not true, that it's the phone causing the problem He said there's no way to block certain devises I have multiple devises connected to my Wi-Fi, this is the only devise having this problem so can it really be the phone it self? If so what can I do?

Out of the 4 iPhones in the house hold one doesn't connect automatically connect to home Wi-Fi I have to manually put in password it wouldn't bother me so much if it wasn't my personal phone and suggestions on how to fix this through my phone I have no options to remember network through my phone but it does remember networks of places I have been and connects automatically
