Does every iphone sold have ios 7 now?

Does every iPhone sold after the ios7 update have it already in it or do you have to update it yourself?

The iPhone 4S and iPhone 5(if you can find one) will still ship with iOS 6 and will need to be updated to iOS 7 if you so chose to do that. The 5S and 5C will ship with iOS 7 pre-installed.

Hmm I think so, otherwise you can just update it regardless.

@Ryan: no they wouldn't. As far as the 5 or any used iPhone that is iOS 7 capable it depends on what version of iOS they are running when they are sold. As I said, all new iOS devices that are capable will come with whatever is the latest at the time, which is as of now iOS 7.0.2

  • Sold my Iphone to gamestop, what now? I had my water at my house get turned off and I had been behind on my bills for 2 back to back months, so the phone was already out of service, but i had signed a two year contract, 4 months ago. So I went to gamestop and traded it in. If i wanted to get another iphone. Do i just go into sprint and say lost/stolen and buy a brand new one then pay my bill? Should i be good? Or will i get some sort of fine?
  • Sold iPhone on ebay now buyer wants me to unlock it? I recently sold my old iPhone 4s on ebay. The buyer contacted me a few days ago asking if I could go to att.com/deviceunlock and unlock it. It's free to me and he said he would gift me $20 on paypal if I do it. Is this legit or is this guy trying to pull something on me? It has a clean imei so it wouldn't be an issue, I just don't know if this is something that is going to get me into trouble
  • Sold iPhone 4 but now worried about whether the data can be accessed? My boyfriend just sold his old iphone 4 to a friend, and instead of wiping it out by going to settings -> General -> Reset -> Erase all content and settings, he just manually deleted all the pictures, apps, web history etc. He also left the password lock on and told his friend what the code was. Is there a possibility of his friend being able to recover what was on his phone? Or was his manually erasing everything good enough to ensure that his data and stuff won't be accessible
  • Is iPhone 5 sold in the US better than those sold in China in quality? I know that most of apples products are manufactured in China. But is there like any slight difference?
