Does kik and snapchat use my texting minutes?
Hi, I just got an iPhone 5c and I only have 1, 000 minutes. I don't wanna go over so I got kik and snapchat but do those use the minutes too? I didn't think they did because I have them on my iPod but I didn't know if that changed considering I'm using it on my iPhone.
No, they don't! If you don't have Wi-Fi, it will use up your data, though. I have 2GB of data and I haven't once gone over, so you'll probably be fine.
No it doesn't but just to be safe, turn your phone on "air plane" Mode and use Wi-Fi insteadwhen using apps so you won't use your cellular data. Which can waste your minutes too.
- Why is texting slower than snap insta kik etc I've found time and time again when trying to text or send pictures sending it through text is significantly slower than almost every other messenger app. Facebook, insta, snap, kik all of them are leagues faster at sending pictures than the basic text feature on my iphone. Why is this? I don't keep old conversations long. Yet it takes almost 5 mins to send a pic of a screenshot on text and it takes 5 seconds on anything else.
- When using Kik messenger on iPhone with your data plan, how much mb does it use? I'm getting an iPhone, and I tend to use kik messenger a lot on my blackberry already. How much mb of Internet does Kik use to send and/or receive messages, and picture messages? Is 500mb too low for someone who tends to use it a lot without Wi-Fi? Answers are greatly appreciated.
- What's the point of Kik and Snapchat? I have Kik but I only use it for my fandom account on Instagram to discuss fandom stuff but I stopped using it a few months ago. I don't have snapchat. I don't know why people use Kik messenger when they can just iMessage because iMessage and Kik are basically the same. And for Snapchat you can send photos on Instagram or iMessage.
