Does multitasking on the iPhone drain battery life?
I've been hearing rumors that if you use the Facebook app for example, and you click out of it, iOS will stop the app from running yet still keep it open, thus it would not drain battery life while your not using it.
But is this true? When you have multiple apps running at the same time do they really drain more battery?
Yes, the iPhone has to constantly check on how the apps are running, putting a hit on battery life. It also makes your phone run slower if you have a lot running in the background (multitasking)
- Why does my IPhone battery drain when in my car? My phone could be at 100% and within 10 minutes it'll be down to 1% when I'm in my car. Why is this?
- Why does my iPhone battery drain so quick? I took my phone off the charger at about 9:30am, it's now 10:01am and it was on 100%, I hardly used it, I only went on Facebook to check the newsfeed and reply to an inbox and now it's on 87%? I was watching it go down and it goes down 1% roughly every 2 minutes. It's been happening for about a week now and I'm lucky if my phone lasts me half a day. What can I do (WITHOUT BUYING A NEW PHONE)
- Why does my iphone 5s battery drain so quick? So I never have my 3G on as I know it's a real battery killer, my brightness is always at it's lowest and I rarely ever go on my phone yet still somehow my 100 percent battery at most will last 2-3 hours rarely ever that?
- Why does my iPhone 5 drain battery even when I don't use it? My battery keep running out even when I don't use it. I tried to turn off location services and brightness and stuff but doesn't really help. What should I do?
