Does My Iphone 5s Work In China?

I'm In Living In India. I'm Going To Buy Iphone 5s From The Online Apple Store But I Don't Know Where The Iphone 5s Come From? From USA Or Any Other Place… But I'm Buying It Without Contract Because I'm Going To Jiamusi, china For Studies Coming Month. IF i Get A Sim Card In China FOr My Iphone. Does it Work With Without Any Network Problems And Internet, etc?

Many mobile phones have global roaming service, with which calls could be be made easily. While charge of cellphones' global roaming service is quite expensive, buying a SIM card in China and using it on your cell phone while traveling in China is suggested here, which is much cheaper. Since SIM card is pre-charged in China, you just need to insert it into your cellphone and calls could be made right away.

  • Will my verison iPhone 4 work in China? I'm going to China for 10 days in November and I'm worried that my phone won't have service being I'm from The USA. I have Verison and its an iPhone 4. Will it possibly have Internet but not be able to text or make calls. I've heard that it will text but no calls and I've heard that nothing will work, not even Internet. So I'm just trying to get a real answer. Does anyone know from experience or work for verison or something?

I don't mean use it for calling and using the Internet, I mean can I still use it to play games that is already on my phone? I'm planning to put it on airplane mode the whole time I'm there.

  • IPhone 4S (GSM China). Is this a Fake Apple? I'm looking for an iPhone 4S. And, I found one with Model - A1431(GSM China). But, since "China" comes under the name, I'm little confused. Is this iPhone Made-By-China? Not an original Apple product? And, I found the device language to be Chinese.So, is there any way to make it English? Like, will it need an unlock or something?
