Does texting someone from a different country cost more money?

My family is leaving to go to Greece on Sunday. If I texted and called some of my friends here in the US while in Greece would it cost more money?

I have sprint and an iPhone 4 if that helps.

Imfrom America Andy go to Canada in the summer and Ireland every year, and I'm not allowed to text there. I used to have just a regular phone and tossed like 50 cents a text. Then I got an android and I couldn't even turn it on in Canada, because it was constantly searching for Internet. And now I have and iPhone 4, and I can't use apps or anything, but I can turn it on… I think. I opulent try if I were you, but you might have a different plan than me.

  • Will T-Mobile charge me extra for texting out of the country? One of my friends is in Egypt. She texted me last night and I hesitated to reply because I was afraid that they would charge me like $20 since its Egypt. I ended up replying once and now i'm afraid. My mom will kill me if they charge a lot. However, I have unlimited texting and she texted me from an app which is from the iphone i think… Will they charge me?
  • Will data be charged for texting and calling outside the country to another iphone? My girlfriend is going to costa rica for the summer and i need to know will me calling and texting her use up my date. It would be facetime audio and imessage only. Also i have att if that matters.
  • Is there a problem with texting someone in a different country? So this person and I are both from the US and have American phone numbers. We both have iPhones so it's iMessage. This person is currently in another country on vacation. We're texting now, but I'm worried if any charges will occur
  • Long distance charges when texting from own country? So I'm in Canada where I'm from and my friend who is also from Canada is in the states right now. We both have iPhones so I know we can use iMessage and not be charged and I know if she texts me she will be charged but if I text her from Canada to the US wil I be charged? Also I'm with Bell.
