Does the carnival freedom cruise have Wi-Fi?

Me and my family are headed to the carnival freedom cruise and are having some questions.
Is the Wi-Fi free? If not, there's a internet cafe so can I borrow a iPhone or any mobile?

They do have Wi-Fi but its NOT free. Its actually quite expensive and slow. They do have an internet cafe but again its expensive. Your best bet is wait until you pull into a port and find a place that has free Wi-Fi. You will still be charged by your provider though.

All cruises have Wi-Fi, but you will pay alot for it. I paid something like $20 for 30 minutes, but that allowed me to use to use it quickly for a couple days so I could exchange some pics and messages.

They do have Wi-Fi of sorts but it comes from a satellite which makes it very slow. I believe Carnival does have a internet cafe, but those have PC computers in them, not iphones or mobile. Some ships you can use your iphone or tablet in your cabin, but mostly not as the signal does not do well when enclosed by metal. As far as price, you will pay about $75 for 60 minutes of use. Much of that 6o minutes is waiting for the computer to respond. The staff on the ship wait until they are in a port and use free Wi-Fi off the ship. Just ask any staff where the free Wi-Fi is when in port.

Wi-Fi is not nay NOT free, it is very expensive and slo as molasses in January running uphill backwards

same with any cell service. As high as 2.50 a minute while underway.

save it for shore when you can find a free hotspot(ask the crew where the best places are)

All cruise ships "charge" for their Wi-Fi, meaning it is not "free" Wi-Fi.

I've been on a bunch of cruises and only once have I seen an internet cafe with somebody using it. It's pathetic when there's an amazing adventure going on outside and some poor loser is tapping away at a keyboard staying touch with the friends s/he left behind. It's like going to the actual Grand Canyon but only looking at it from a hotel room on Google Earth.
