Does the iPhone 5 need a computer to be activated and does it need Wi-Fi?
I'm gonna upgrade and i want a iPhone 5 but my pc is currently down and so is my Wi-Fi, will i be able to activate the phone or will i need the Wi-Fi and computer or can my cell phone provider activate it for me, i have T mobile and i have a iTunes account, haven't used it in a while tho
Usually the provider does the activation. In order to reap the benefits of the 5, you will need iTunes and Wi-Fi.
- When setting up an Apple Id and password for an iphone 5s, do you need to plug in the USB to the computer and the phone? Do you hook up USB plug to phone and computer to sync it, or do you just create the Apple ID and password?

- If I jailbreak my iphone 5c, will I need to get it re-activated with my carrier? Will I lose service from verizon (my cell provider) when I jailbreak? I don't want to have to take it to a verizon store and explain that I want them to reactivate it after a jailbreak. Also, does jailbreaking affect upgrading to a new phone? - I simply want to jailbreak my 5c and still have service from verizon afterwards, and be able to upgrade when i need to
