When setting up an Apple Id and password for an iphone 5s, do you need to plug in the USB to the computer and the phone?
Do you hook up USB plug to phone and computer to sync it, or do you just create the Apple ID and password?
No. Ever since iOS 5 (2011) it isn't required to connect your iPhone to a computer since you can setup the phone directly on the phone. Pre-iOS 5, it was required to connect the device to iTunes to set it up, which was very inconvenient.
Shouldn't matter in that case.
- Will Apple automatically sign you out if you change your Apple password? My sister has my mums old iPhone which has my stuff logged in and she told me she could see my messages and I got a little freaked out and I wanna know if Apple logs you out automatically if you change your password ;-; (The phone is supposed to be mine soon.)
- Why is Apple so keen to push USB-C with their Macbooks but they don't include USB-C on the iPhone? It seems like the Macbook department at Apple thinks USB Type C is the best thing since sliced bread but the iPhone department thinks USB Type C is work of the devil.
- Is there an adapter with AC/Wall Plug Input and USB output? Trying to find essentially the opposite of an iPhone cable. IIm wondering if there exists an adapter that will allow me to plug a wall outlet into a USB port. If so, let me know where I can find it!
