Does verizon send me a new or refurbished iPhone 4 when they replace my old iPhone 4?
I want to replace my apple iPhone 4 and I want to know if verizon will send me a brand new iPhone 4 in a box or a refurbished iPhone 4. I also wan to know how much will it cost? I read that they will send you a iPhone for $12.Is it more or less? I'm still under my 1 year waranty for my iPhone 4, the problem with it is my home button and I just want to get a new one because my home button is really lag on the lock screen and when I open the app switcher.
I'm not sure about Verizon, but mom had a iphhone3gs get so hot that it burned her ear.at&t said to not use it anymore. They didn't even tell her that they were going to send her a iphone refurbished phone. She found out when she asked why it was taken so long to ship to the house. She got another phone from at&t instead. It isn't fair for cell phone companies to give you a refurbished phone when you signed a contract for a new one. I asked the workers if the other phone makers give you refurbs instead of new and they said yes. Maybe Verizon is the same way. I don't like refurb phones because the warranty on them is only 90 days compared to a year if it was new.
Replacement iPhones from Verizon & AT&T are always refurbished, unfortunately. Also I've heard that there's a $50 deductible! The warranty is also reduced to 90 days instead of a year on the new iPhones. I know it doesn't sound fair, but it's still better than the alternative -- consider the cost of buying a replacement iPhone 4 on Craigslist or Ebay, and you'll be looking at around $400.
- Why does my refurbished verizon iphone 4 say sprint next to carrier in my settings? Yeah and I spoke to Verizon over the phone and they said the phone is verizon or else they would not be able to see it on their end. And they said they activated the line. But the phone is not activated and the carrier says sprint under settings although Verizon says it is a verizon phone
- Where can I buy a refurbished/certified verizon iPhone 5? I broke my i4, and instead of making an insurance claim, i would rather upgrade to an i5, but if i upgrade in the store, i lose my unlimited data plan, which i clearly refuse to do. - If I take my iPhone 5 to an apple store, will they replace it with a new one? My iPhone 5 has no cracks or nothing like that. The only problem is the on and off button will not work correctly, I have to repeatedly press it hard in order for it to turn on or off. And another problem is at the bottom of the screen there's a green light that's stays on the screen for about 3 seconds or so. I got my phone last year, so my warranty is up. But if I take it to an apple store and show them what's wrong, will they exchange it for one that's never been used?
- If i do not have insurance on my verizon iPhone 5s but warranty with apple will verizon replace it? I do not have insurance with Verizon; however, I have warranty with apple until next year. Apple will replace my phone but will Verizon replace my iPhone since i have warranty with apple? (i bought it from Verizon) I'm just wondering because it is easier for me to go to Verizon rather than Apple.
