Does VPN drain your battery life?(iPhone)?
Well I just recently got VPN on my phone because of everything that is blocked at school. I just wanted to know if it drains your battery life significantly.
Unless you have some type of dedicated VPN adapter/accelerator on your phone (doubt it), no… It won't'. Support for a VPN is a 'software thing'. The network adapter/wireless adapter that's draining power now will continue to drain the same amount of power after you VPN into the target device.
- Why does my iPhone battery drain so quick? I took my phone off the charger at about 9:30am, it's now 10:01am and it was on 100%, I hardly used it, I only went on Facebook to check the newsfeed and reply to an inbox and now it's on 87%? I was watching it go down and it goes down 1% roughly every 2 minutes. It's been happening for about a week now and I'm lucky if my phone lasts me half a day. What can I do (WITHOUT BUYING A NEW PHONE)

Ok, so, I charge my iPhone up to 100% battery, It's on the night, so I don't use it, I just unplug the iPhone after it's charged, and put it on my table, the next day in the morning, it drains to 98% or even less, I already turned off all the things that drain the battery, IOS 7.3 by the way. And umm, I turned off the parallex, app refresh, lower brightness, pretty much everything off/disabled, even Siri, Why does this happen?
