Dropped iPhone 4S in snow, speakers don't work how do I fix it?
My speakers won't work on anything. I have to put my headphones to hear anything. Can I please get some tips? Should I put it in rice?
Take it to the apple store
Firstly, there's only one speaker on the iphone 4s its the bottom right grill, the other is something else, secondly, blow into the speaker harshly then suck (not too hard or you could mess up the insides) keep alternating between the two and eventually it should start to get louder and return to normal, it always works for me, the 4s's speakers are so easy to mess up it happens on a regular basis
Whether you've heard it from friends or family… The rice trick does work.
For me I dropped my phone in the first week of having it down the toilet. I submerged my phone into a bag of rice and after 24 hours it worked. My friends have used the same method for water damage both iPhones and Blackberry's.
You could take the phone back to the store, however i've heard Apple Care dosent cover water damage.
- Some water came onto iphone, now speakers don't work? If i play music or want to get text tone i can't hear anything unless i use the headphones then it works. But by it self it does not work although i can record a voice memo and then hear it back. BUT why can I not hear music or hear the text tone?
- Snow leopard upgrade mac os x didn't work? I purchased the snow leopard software and it updated my computer to 10.6.3 How do I get snow leopard 10.6.8? I need to download itunes version 11.3 for my iphone 5s but it says i need mac os x 10.6.8 or higher how do i get it? Can i upgrade from the 10.6.3 version to lion 10.7?
- Iphone dropped in the snow? Won't turn on? So my mom dropped her iPhone 4 in the snow at about noon (it's 5 now) and all day it worked then it slowly lost all sound. And now it will not even turn on. We can't just run to the apple store or Att store cuz there's not one around. Her phone is in rice right know. I'm hoping it will work when she goes to work. ANY OTHER OPIONS TO Help ME?
- IPhone 4 speakers don't work? So, I bought a new iPhone. Immediately I realized that the speakers for it do not work. The phone is NOT in silent mode, I've tried blowing in the speaker and headphone jack. The sound works fine when I'm calling someone. It doesn't think it's in headphone mode. I'm so confused. Any suggestions?
