Snow leopard upgrade mac os x didn't work?
I purchased the snow leopard software and it updated my computer to 10.6.3 How do I get snow leopard 10.6.8? I need to download itunes version 11.3 for my iphone 5s but it says i need mac os x 10.6.8 or higher how do i get it? Can i upgrade from the 10.6.3 version to lion 10.7?
Did you go to Software Update? That should do a search for updates and allow you to upgrade to 10.6.8 (which I'm running). You have to purchase Lion. Or you should be able to upgrade directly to Mavericks (check the specs on the Apple website.) If you do decide to upgrade to Mavericks, be sure to back up everything first. There's usually no problem, but it's always a good idea to do a backup.
Go to the link below at Apple and look for the updates that are needed. Be certain to start with the OLDEST update and move forward with updates to take you from 10.6.3 to 10.8.5.
As far as upgrading to 10.7 that is dependent upon your system meeting or exceeding the requirements to install 10.7.

- Remove DRM from itunes (Mac OSX Snow Leopard)? I moved from an Iphone to a galaxy nexus. Almost everything I bought on Itunes refuses to transfer due to DRM.
