Dropped my iphone in water. Can it be fixed?
2 days ago I dropped my iphone 4 in the kitchen sink full of water. I dried it and it seemed to be working perfectly fine after the incident. However yesterday morning when I turned the phone on to check something (which I think I shouldn't have done!) the phone turned on to a white screen with black edges as shown in the picture. I thought the phone was unrepairable but after investigating, I realised that the sound, vibrate, and touch screen still work I just can't see anything. The phone still received messages and calls. Seeing as the problem looks to be the screen, can I just replace the screen or is there damage that can't be fixed? Also I've tried putting it in rice but that hasn't worked.
Put some rice in a bag. Then put the iPhone in the bag and let it stay there for 15-30 min. Then try to power it on. If nothing happens call apple right away and tell them what happened to it. I'm positive that it will work after soaking it in rice.
- WHAT do i do if my landlord hasn't fixed my hot water tank after 9 days? Its been 9 days since my landlord said he would fix my hot water tank. I have no hot water… Still. What do i do? I already notified him, he came about a week ago and said he would be back the following day, then he never showed up. Hes ignoring my texts (iphone told me my message was delivered and read) what do i do?
- IPhone in water, screen doesn't work. Can it be fixed? I dropped my phone in the sink which was full of water/dishes. I grabbed it out immediately but it was fully submerged. The phone still works, I'm getting texts and alerts, but the screen won't work. I can see everything but the touch screen isn't working. I can't even slide it to unlock it. I will try the rice thing but I'm wondering if it would work on the screen, or if I need to replace the screen. Or buy a new phone:/

- I dropped my Iphone in water - no water damage showing on indicator? Here is the situation. I dropped my Iphone 5 in the toilet (I hadn't peed yet so all good there). Immediately switched it off, dried it and put it in a bag of rice. This was at about 6 p.m yesterday. This morning without turning it on I opened up the sim compartment to check the circle for water damage (checked online and apparently this is where to check for water damage). The indicator was white. It is back in the rice but I was wondering - when you think it will be ok to turn back on?
