Dropped my iphone - screens cracked

I've dropped my iphone for like the 500th time - the screen is cracked up the top and the phone recognise its being touched in certain parts of the screen now - sometimes it starts clicking on things on its own…

I contacted optus and got a claim number - i plan on taking the phone in on monday. However my general question is am i more likely to get a brand new phone or are they more than likely to repair it? I personally, would prefer a new phone…

I understand i won't get the phone fixed or replaced for free - i have already been told it will be $100 to be repaired and $250 to be replaced. I have insurance. If it is replaced will it just be another refurbished 4s model or will it be an iphone 5?

and before any one jumps at me - yes it has a case - it just landed on its screen this time.

As they're replacing, you will NOT be upgraded to a newer model. If you wanted to upgrade, you would have to go through the standard procedure for upgrading.
