Ebay buyer marked as payment received?

But I've gotten nothing. They won the bid on my laptop for $90. What's really bugging me about this is the fact that my statistics on eBay are marking it as paid, even though I haven received NOTHING. The paypal email is correct, and I have nothing in paypal.
It's making me nervous, because I want this person to pay me. I've emailed them and given them an invoice, and then I checked their account. They created it on the day that the auction ended, and they have one feedback from a seller that's also got one feedback. "Thanks for buying iPhone"
That seller, and the buyer, have nothing for sale.
Is this a scam? I sure think so. Should I just go ahead and relist the item or what?

If you are a new seller, you won't get any money to your Paypal account for 3 weeks. The payment method might take longer if it was an e-check, if buyer is in another country. You can't pick and choose buyers except if they are in another country or have negative feedback but you must set your preferences before you list.

When you see the money in your Paypal account you can ship the item. No, you can't relist the item now. After 4 days, you go to Ebay Resolution Center and open case for Unpaid Item. You have to follow the rules.

They BUYER can't mark the payment received. That is impossible. EBay has been experiencing several glitches lately so you may want to call them. Use the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of any page. If it has been some time. If you go into your "waiting for payment" screen, on the far right of where it shows the item purchased, if you click on the drop-down there will be a link that says "Open unpaid item case" and do that. It's pretty easy and it will walk you through it.

But like I said, THEY can't mark the item as paid, that is simply impossible so you might want to actually be pro-active and call eBay for help.

DO NOT re-list this item without resolving the issue through eBay. They can and will close your account and make it so you can't open another (using your IP address) if you do this. They consider it fraud.

Are you a new seller? If so your money may be held by PayPal for up to 21 days to insure you send the item and it arrives in the condition stated.

Check your account again. If there's money "pending" then they paid. If there's no pending balance then they didn't.

Go back into eBay. In the auction, click on sell similar, then scroll down to the payment section. Did you put in the correct email address or not?

I would try contacting ebay customer service first, to see if it is a computer glitch. It may not be the person's fault.
