EBay Case Closed, Seller Wants Item Shipped back?

I recently bought an iPhone 4S and the phone wasn't described correctly. Opened an eBay case, the seller sent me a refund and the case closed. Now I got a message from the seller asking for me to ship the item to him, even after he sent me a refund, without stating a return address or paying for return shipping (after we agreed to, he still didn't).So what should I do? (As right now I don't think I'm obligated to send it back to him, since he closed the case and I never received a message in the case, where you normally have to send tracking number to return the item like other ebay cases)

Added (1). I'm sorry if I wasn't clear, I was more of not being sure if I should ship the phone back or not. Because in the case he never posted anything relating to the return address and didn't send the return shipping money (don't go saying "Well its the buyers duty" obviously you didn't read the whole thing as it was agreed to).So in other words, Why didn't he just do a standard procedure of me returning the phone then refund?

Yes but you still have to send the phone back, the buyer is always responsible for return shipping. You already got your refund so you can't keep the phone also.

Yes you need to send the phone back under the eBay user agreement and you need to pay for the return shipping. If you don't the seller can have your accounts closed under the eBay user agreement if they tell eBay what you are doing by keeping the phone.

Or put another way keep the phone and it is stealing and fraud.

Of course you have to send the phone back. It isn't free. He was being nice sending you a refund before you shipped the phone back, not the usual procedure. If he is a large merchandiser, someone in his office may have goofed up and thought you shipped the item back.

If the case is closed now you don't have to send him nothing, a closed case is CLOSED. Block him and stop responding to him

SELLERS Can't HAVE YOUR ACCOUNT CLOSED AND THEY Can't CLAIM FOR YOU TO DO SOMETHING AFTER THEY CLOSE A CASE THEY CAN't DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. DON't LISTEN TO THESE AMATEURS.
