Fake ads and modeling, is this typical?
Recently my Burmese girlfriend accidentally met up with some makeup rep. The stuff is an produced by an expensive Japanese manufacturer. This is a new lower cost line they are pushing on Asian women in Singapore. She gave my girlfriend some free makeup to use her snap on their web site.
Get this… The snap is not professional. I took that snap with my low end (less than $200) Nikon. The snap was taken months ago, and intended for her sister. It is hardly better than something I might have causally snapped with my iPhone. They Photoshopped it and zoomed in on her face.
She only recently learned about the makeup brand. Does the snap on the web site not imply that this is how she looks using their product? At the time of the snap she had never even heard of the brand. She was in reality wearing some stuff she bought at OG (a department store like Target).
I think they are fraudulent!
Yeah, it is fraudulent.especially if she did not sign a contract.
- Modeling portofolio VS iPhone 6 plus? I really want an iphone but i still really want to get a modeling portofolio. For those who don't know what that is, it is a book of various pictures of you that you need in order to show to companies looking for models and modeling agencies. I want to start my modeling career but i also really want a phone. I have the money for only one. And by the time i'm a model and actually make money regularly might be in the year 2025 Haha so umm what would you do in this situation?
- Is it true that your typical keyboard user should be able to type faster than the typical user that's communicating with a touchpad? I've been told that someone with a keyboard on average will be able to type faster than your typical user who uses a touchpad on their phone; however, I'm able to type at 90 words per minute on my iPhone, which generally reduces to about 75 whenever I type on a keyboard. So, which is the faster method for online chatting overall?
- IPhone 5 Battery Drainage.what's typical? I just got an iPhone 5 and was wondering what is typical as far as battery life. I have an iPad so I'm used to not having to charge for weeks but the iPhone has a considerably weaker battery. Can anyone provide a comprehensive list of ways to minimize battery drainage? I already limited notifications, turned cellular data off, minimized screen brightness, etc. I'm usually connected to Wi-Fi, does that use a lot of battery?
