Getting new iphone, backing up old one
I cracked my iPhone screen the other night so I'm getting a new iPhone but I don't wanna lose everything I already have saved on it (pictures, notes, numbers…) how can I save this stuff and will I be able to transfer it on to my new one?!
Use the cloud to save your personal stuff, or back it up on your computer in iTunes and restore them later. Your apps are saved in the App Store you just have to re-download them (you don't have to pay for them again).
- Will backing up my iPhone to a new one log me out of kik and delete my messages? I just got a new phone and plan on backing up my old phone to my new one. I was wondering if by backing it up I will have to log into kik again or if it will treat it as if I'm on the same device and stay the same? I know kik can randomly log out sometimes and want to be certain before I do it.
- Thinking of getting new iPhone - will old iPhone work as an iPod without sim? Am eligible for upgrade and was thinking of giving current iPhone 4 to 8 year old to use as an iPod. Will it work without a sim?
- Thinking of getting a new device, what to do with old one? So I've had an iPod touch 3G for like a few years since my parents got it for me as a birthday present. But now that I got a job and earning money I've been thinking lately of getting an iPhone 5 or another more updated device since they are so much more faster and better! So I was thinking, what should I do with my outdated iPod touch 3G when I get a new device? Destroying it seems like a waste so what are something's I could do?
- Lost iPhone, some advice on getting a new one? I lost my iPhone so it bugs me how I even gotta get a new one from so many things i had in the phone. But I suspended the account and then I was thinking on getting a new one from the store company. I have a plan… Would they make me pay the same amount I got the phone at first? Or more? For a replacement, cus I lost mine.
