Getting Unknown Text Messages on iPhone?

This isn't just a link to some Walmart gift card crap, this guy is saying my name, things I've been doing, and quite frankly, it's scary. Anyone know anything about this?

Nope, but what I do know is block his number and call the police. Take pictures of the texts etc

I agree with an call the cops block the number and takes pictures if you don't know how to take pictures of the text click the power off button while holding the home button.

So if you have iOS 7 just block it. Its not rocket science.

That's not good! I would definetely call the police. Also make sure you DON'T DELETE HIS NUMBER OR TEXT MESSAGES! How else will the police help you?

  • Why does my iPhone not make a sound when I receive a text from an unknown number? When I get a text message from a number that is not in my phone, my phone lights up and shows that I have a text but does not make a sound or ring. Can I change that somehow? I have an iPhone 5.

  • Recieving text messages from unknown callers? Simply saying, "Hey." it has happened a few times in the past as well. My phone is an iphone and is fairly new from last December if that helps. So who are these people? Is it safe to open the message so long as you don't reply? I accidently went to the message, and hope that no one is currently hacking my phone.
