Good smart phones? Better than iPhone?

I have the iPhone 5, and it isn't that old. It keeps goofing up and I'm just frustrated with it. I've had iPhones in the past and they always goof up in someway.
Should I stick with my iPhone or should I switch? Suggestions please!

There are three main smartphone platforms that I know of: Apple, Android, and Windows. As you have already tried Apple's best iPhone model (that's currently eligible for purchase), then I suggest you try Android/Windows.

I have tried an Android tablet and Android-based Motorola phone before, so I know what it is like. I suggest you try a Samsung Galaxy S5 phone. If it is anything like Android tablets, then it is probably really awesome.

If you're looking for a Windows Phone (one of which I have), try getting a Nokia Lumia 521. It is the model I have. It is super reliable and all around awesome, except for one thing that is not fixable: the lack of apps/games. It doesn't have a front camera and certain other camera-related abilities, so if you want a bigger screen and front camera, try Nokia Lumia 920/925/928. The most recent Nokia phone is super advanced (though very expensive; around same price as S4), the Nokia Lumia Icon.

I don't know what "goof" means. You've obviously had issues with phones in the past. No phone platform isn't without issues.

I have the samsung galaxy s5 and trust me, it never gets old… You can download themes for your phone and everything. I would get one of these: htc one m8, samsung note 3, samsung galaxy s5 or s4… Personally I would choose galaxy s5

If you think an iPhone is frustrating, you'll probably jump off a bridge if you try any other phone. One of the selling points of the iPhone is its extreme user-friendliness-using a phone doesn't get any easier than iPhone. That's why I recommend only iPhone to my non-computer friends and relatives.

For me still iphone 5s lol, if you want a smartphone wherein you can download everything and anything you do with it, go with samsung galaxy s5

Well no phone is "better" than any other phone. And you can't compare iPhone with android because they're two different phones intended for 2 different types of people.

Since you aren't happy with the iPhone, try the Nexus 5. I've never had one but I hear it's one of the best android phones for someone who is switching from iPhone.

The nexus 5 isn't available for Verizon, so if you have verizon maybe go with the Moto X, I hear it's also a good "transition" android.

  • Why is the iphone so much better than other smart phones? I'm not trying to start a fight here. It just seems like Apple has access to alien technology or something. I've been trying to help my dad with his Samsung stratosphere and the difference is staggering. Another thing worth noting is that any of my friends who have non iphone smart phones also carry their ipod touches around with them. That says something.
  • Why are iPhones so different than smart phones? My gramma just got an iPhone and has no idea how to use it and I have to teach her how but I have a smart phone and I kept on looking for buttons that aren't there and on smartphones it is simple to set your ringtone but I have no idea how to on an iPhone my gramma wants Eric church for her ringtone and I have no idea how to do that and she wants a new message tone too! Someone please help me
  • We make the claim that the proportion of iphone users to other smart phones is 62%? We believe the proportion may be higher. We wish to reject Ho if the true proportion is 4% greater than the hypothesized proportion. Use α = 0.02 and β = 0.05 to find the sample size necessary to test this claim. state the null and alternative hypothesis draw the curve and label alpha and beta unstandardize and solve for n
  • Recommend newish smart phones no bigger than iPhone 6? I know very little about smartphones and their rankings and such, as I still have the same phone from over 4 years ago. I want nothing bigger than the iPhone 6 as I value how comfy a phone is inside a pocket.
