Having problems restoring whatsapp messages on new iphone when I have kept my old number?
I have just bought an iPhone 6s. Previous to this I had an iPhone 4. I've kept the same number. I've been using whatsapp for the last 3-4 years on my iPhone 4 and have lots of messages stored in it. I backed up my iPhone on to iTunes and then restored the backup for my new phone. Everything is on there apart from my whatsapp messages. How do I get these messages from my old phone to me new phone?

- Why does my new iPhone 5c shows my old number under messages option? I'm trying to activate my iMessage, but I want to send & receive as my current number. However, my new, current number is not appearing. It shows my old number. I'm assuming its because I backed up my phone on my itunes to get my contacts back, But how can I fix this so it could show my current number instead of my old number that I'm not using anymore.

I'm moving to the Straighttalk AT&T plan and need to know how to get my number changed over and where to get a new micro SIM card from.
