Having problems with my iPhone 5? - 2

I'm trying to restore my iPhone 5, i put it into Recovery mode so i can delete EVERYTHING. I connected it to iTunes and clicked Restore. But when it is about 3/4 of the way completed, an error message pops up saying something like "Restore can't be completed on iPhone. Network connection timed out" i have a Mac, iTunes is updated to latest version, and i can't figure out what else to do.

It might be your internet connection or your firewall or anti virus might be stopping the download from finishing disabling these two temporary might help. Or reinstall iTunes of that doesn't work download the software file manually from

Once firmware is downloaded connect iPhone to iTunes and press and hold the option button on Mac and click restore. On windows press and hold on shift and restore then it should come up with a window showing your files locate the manually downloaded file and click ok.

  • My iPhone 4 having problems with audio when video taping? Ok so I have had this phone for 2 months now and it's just now having this issue. When I record sound and other things it's fine except when I record video on my phone this sound is barely audible. I mean you still hear it but barely. Also anything else where sound around me and my voice I can hear it fine. So what's wrong with it and what should I do about it?
  • Is anyone having data problems with their iPhone 4? (Virgin mobile)? About 24 hours I started receiving an error message on my phone saying I'm not subscribed to any cellular data. I can text/call perfectly fine; however, my 3G is basically useless. I've called virgin mobile at least 10 times and none of them are willing to help. They just keep transferring my call. So does anyone know what's going on?
