Help connecting laptop to Wi-Fi?
I just got time warner cable internet. The day I first set it up(1 week ago) I was able to connect to it. So far, my roommate and my iPhone have been able to connect just fine to the Wi-Fi. But for my laptop, it refuses to let me connect. My laptop is a year old, hp, and has windows 8. I've tried being right next to the router, and still nothing. I'm able to connect to Wi-Fi at school, and I'm able to just plug the Ethernet cable into my laptop to use the internet. I've scanned for viruses and there was nothing. I have also tried to restart my laptop, and turn on an off airplane mode. What is a possible solution to this problem?

When you cannect using Wi-Fi try to right click the Wi-Fi logo then hit troubleshoot and the computer shall fix it depending on the Wi-Fi used
- Will connecting my iPhone to new laptop delete everything? I just got a new laptop and want to connect my iPhone with it instead of my brothers one which I had been using. All the music on my iPhone is pretty old anyway so I wouldn't mind if that got deleted and I had to start again with music, but will things like contacts and photos and everything else be deleted too?

Whenever I plug my iPad into my laptop using a USB cable my iPad connects to my laptop/iTunes and my iPad starts charging. However, whenever I use the same USB cable to connect my iPhone, nothing happens. My iPhone doesn't start charging and nothing appears on my laptop. Why is this? Is there a setting on my phone I need to change? Any help appreciated.
