Help downgrading iOS 7 beta on iPhone 4S?
So I tried downloading the iOS 7 beta and there were some difficulties. First, there was a problem with the software and everything on my phone was deleted( At least that is what i think happened). Then I figured that instead of downloading the old software and restoring it to 6.1.3, I tried it with the beta and it worked. Then, I was excited to look at the new iOS. But I didn't know that you had to be linked to a developer account. Then I decided that I should download the old software and put it back and escape this nightmare so I could use my phone. I downloaded the software and opened iTunes. Then it said that I needed to be linked with a developer account to do anything. Now I'm stuck with a locked out iPhone that I can't downgrade. If there's a program or anything I can do(preferably free, I would just buy a UDID code but I don't have the correct resources available.) to help me get my iPhone back, even if it means all my stuff is erased, even though I already think it is.
You can't.
You don't have to be linked to a developers account according to iclarified's article about how this is working without having to register your UDID with a developer. So you tried to manually install the IPSW on your phone and you never backed up your phone using itunes? If thats the case you should know that always backing your phone up regardless is important step number 1. Just look for older ipsw's that is 6.1.4 or 6.1.3 depending if your on the iphone 4 or 4S or 5 look for them here: http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=750 Now that you downloaded this firmware file depending on your phone you need to put your iphone in DFU mode. DFU mode is recovery mode very simply just connect your phone to the computer hold the sleep/wake button and home button for 10 seconds and let go of the sleep/wake button but still holding that home button.here look at this http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=1034 ok so now thats done all you need to do is itunes will pop up or w/e and say this is in recovery mode. Manually shift or alt press restore and search for that IPSW 6.1.4 or 6.1.3 and click that to install. Thats it you should be downgraded back to your original operating system. A little google is all you need in this world to figure out how to fix something and now you know!
- Lost all downloaded apps from iPhone downgrading from iOS 7 Beta? Before I upgraded, I manually backed up my iPhone on my mac. I needed to downgrade after upgrading, so I opt+clicked restore iPhone and selected the correct firmware, 6.1.4 (for my iPhone 5). I loaded up the iPhone and restored from my previous backup. When I loaded up my phone, there were no apps on it that didn't come with the device! Does anyone know what went wrong or how to get all of the apps and their previous data back? It would help me beyond belief!

- Is it possible to Lose iCloud Activation lock by Downgrading to iOS 6 on iPhone 4? I have a iCloud locked iPhone 4 which was factory unlocked. I hacktivated it using win SCP and now the sim won't work. So i thought why not downgrade to a version when Activation Lock wasn't even created. That way i will have a fully working iPhone on iOS 6 right? Is that possible?
